New Album!

The Mystix' are excited to announce their new, upcoming album!
With a working title of "Dixie Highways," this new album is influenced by southern gospel/blues from the 20s and 30s and features at least 50% original material, written in this genre, as well as tributes to the origins of this music.
The Mystix went back to the source of gospel, blues and country music and for the first time brought in a couple of amazing special guest artists including: Jerry Portnoy a world renowned harp player, who played with Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton and Greg Almann; and country cult icon Jerry Tillman who lent his steel guitar talent to none other than Jerry Reed.
While The Mystix past releases continue to enjoy airplay worldwide, the band anticipates an even better reception to the new album. It's now in the final mix-down stage with a planned Early 2012 release date. We'll be leaking some cuts in the next couple of weeks, so check back soon!
